April 29, 2020   Dear Families:             We hope you are all doing well!  This week we distributed our Q3 report cards. Congratulations to all of our students on your academic achievements.  We know how hard you all have been working both in school and throughout our digital learning process.  As we have already begun quarter IV, please be sure to keep up with daily posted assignments.  This is an important quarter for all of you with a lot of new information and learning adventures to be had!  Please also be sure to keep up with your reading challenges!  In the very beginning of the year, we were embracing the incentive to “read, read, read” often and much.  Please continue to keep this challenge going if you are looking for something to do during quarantine...it’s always a good idea to pick up a book!

Dear Families:

Please tune in to the 10AM Livestream of our First Friday Mass on Friday, May 1, 2020.  Links and information will be posted on Google Classroom.  You may also go directly to the Annunciation-Our Lady of Fatima website to access.  We look forward to celebrating our Mass with all of you!  Please also be sure to see the attached letter Fr. Grippo sent out to our Annunciation students!

On Friday, we will set up another reregistration drop box.  You can drop off reregistration forms at Annunciation School between 1-3PM.  If this time does not work for you, please be sure to email me and we will arrange for an alternate time.  We are so looking forward to continuing our partnership with you!  We will also be accepting cards for health-care workers.  Please consider making a card and dropping it off on Friday!  We will distribute the cards on behalf of our Annunciation students to first responders!  We will have another drop-off for cards scheduled at a later date too!

On Monday, our faculty received an incredible surprise video from our 8th grade students.  We were tearfully in awe of this special sentiment and the messages sent to our faculty from these students.  The Class of 2020 is very special to all of us and during this time of transition, we couldn’t be more proud of everything they have accomplished and their continued efforts.  Their dedication and love for Annunciation is something we treasure and we look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of their elementary school years with them, in person, we pray, SOON!

Next Friday, May 8, 2020 – our entire school will be going on virtual field trips.  Please stay tuned to Google Classroom to see where your child(ren) will be going.  Various grade levels will go on virtual field trips and have an opportunity to explore!  We are very excited for these fun-filled trips!  Though we cannot go on our regular scheduled field trips, we will bring some to our #AESathome experiences.

For our students who were supposed to receive their Confirmation this past Sunday and our Communion students who would have been receiving the Eucharist for the first time in a few weeks, we will assuredly be celebrating these special moments in your lives in the future!  You have been in our prayers!  As the month of May fast approaches, we especially keep in mind our dedication to the Blessed Mother.   We pray she will guide us during these challenging times.

Please see the attached Remote Lip Sync flyer for this exciting calendar event.

Know that we are here to continuously support you!
