Dear Families:                   

     We hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!  If you haven’t done so already, be sure to participate in our 5K for $25 Virtual Walk-A-Thon! (See flyer attached).  In times like these, getting some fresh air is really beneficial.  Gather your family together and walk, run, jog, or bike 3.1 miles.  Be sure to tell all of your friends, neighbors, and alumni of AES.  You have from now until June 8, 2020 to complete your walk!!  This format allows us to adhere to the social distancing guidelines while continuing to build community and still be able to participate in this amazing AES event!  As you know, last year we raised over $25K for our Walk-A-Thon, which helped us to purchase books for our classroom libraries and expand our reading curriculum.  We look forward to continued opportunities to enhance curriculum for the 2020-2021 school year!

      For your convenience, we have scheduled another re-registration drop off for Friday from 1P-3P.  Should you not be able to come at that time, please be sure to email or call us and we will arrange an alternate drop-off! 

      We are starting to integrate some “small group” Zoom sessions in our lower grades.  As we have mentioned before, each week that we move along with distance learning, we tailor our instruction to meet the needs of our students.  We are hopeful that some small group sessions will help students to understand the concepts more thoroughly and give them the ability to ask and answer more questions.   Also, thank you to our NJHS for reading to our Kindergarten students again today!  The more we read, the more we learn!
