Welcome back! We hope you had a restful Easter recess! It is hard to believe it is May! On Sunday, Bishop Massa along with Fr. Grippo, Fr. Kareem, and Fr. Sal anointed the Annunciation school and Our Lady of Fatima religious education students with holy chrism. They excitedly took the next step in their faith in receiving the sacrament of Confirmation!

Dear Families:

We have entered the season of “attitude of gratitude”.  We as a school community will put forth our efforts to take time throughout the month to reflect and appreciate all that we are fortunate to have in our lives.

Tomorrow, we as a faculty, will join the rest of the Archdiocese of New York in gathering for Mass celebrated by Cardinal Dolan and participating in a conference day.  Though we do not like being out of our school building and missing our children, this is always a very special day for educators in the ADNY.  Knowing that we have partners in the mission of educating our students in the Catholic faith is overwhelmingly beautiful!  We hope your children enjoy their day off!

Thank you to all of the work, donations, and everything that went into our Halloween Carnival.  We had a wonderful time!  We also loved gathering as a school to celebrate All Saints’ Day and learning today about the saints’ biographies.

We wish the 8th grade students the best of luck as they take their TACHS exam this Friday, November 8, 2019.  We ask that you as a community also keep them in your prayers!  We are already proud of everything they have accomplished and know their futures are bright!

May God continue to bless our Veterans and their families.
