General Student Service Projects:

• Each Spring, Annunciation’s Eighth Graders volunteer at several local organizations. They may visit places such as The Guild Home for the Aged Blind, Cabrini Nursing Home, The Franciscan Motherhouse, Blythedale Children’s Hospital, or Wartburg Adult Care Community Center. The Eighth Graders engage in several activities with the residents of the centers they visit. They may work on an art project, play “Bingo,” read stories, or simply enjoy pleasant conversation with those whom they are visiting.
• In preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation, Annunciation’s Seventh Graders commit themselves to a minimum of twenty hours of volunteer work. For more information about this program, please contact the Director of Religious Education.
