Calendar Update Due to Snow Days
Holy Thursday, March 29th will be a full day, but there will be NO Extended Day.  There will be NO after school clubs or activities.  The school building will be closed at 3:30PM.

Today’s snow day does not need to be made up.  You may recall Cardinal Dolan gifted the children with a day off when he visited our school.  So today is that gifted day.  Any future snow days will be made up at the end of June as noted on our calendar.  This decision has been approved by the ADNY.

Science Fair Reminders
The science fair will take place tomorrow, March 22, 2018.  5th, 6th and 7th grade students will be participating.

7:45am-8:05am – Students should bring their projects in through the gym doors and set up at their assigned numbered spot. Leave enough time to set up your display and line up in the schoolyard before the morning bell.  ** If an outlet is needed for your project, please bring an extension cord.  Students will present their projects to their teachers during their scheduled science class.

5:45pm – Students should return to school in full school uniform, entering through the gym doors.

6:00-7:30pm – Doors will open for parents/family. Please enter through the main entrance.  At the end of the evening students will take all projects/displays home.

Save the Date
Annunciation’s 75th Anniversary Dinner Gala will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Mulino’s at Lake Isle from 6-11PM.  Invitations were sent.  Click on the invitation on our school’s main page to purchase tickets, raffles and journal ads: school.annunciationcrestwood.com

Annunciation School March Madness
Once again, we have our spring raffle!  Since we now have no school on March 13th there are 19 chances to win!  The $100 prize originally on March 13th is now on March 14th. Tickets to enter are attached as well as the calendar that outlines the prizes that will be awarded each day.  Send your tickets and payment in an envelope labeled March Madness.  If you win your name goes back in again!  Good luck!

Ladies Guild Palm Sunday Bake Sale:
Please mark your calendars and start your mixers!  The Annunciation Ladies Guild is hosting its annual Palm Sunday Bake Sale in the Annunciation School gym following the 5pm Mass on Saturday, March 24th and continuing throughout the morning of Sunday, March 25th.  We are in need of baked goods such as cakes, pies, cookies and cupcakes!  Our best sellers are the home cooked meals such as stromboli, chili, chicken pot pie and quiche!  We would like to offer gluten-free, nut-free and low-fat baked goods again this year.  The class with the most donated baked goods wins a pizza party!  Thanks for your support!

God bless!
