Through participation in the Archdiocese of New York’s Instructional TV / News and Views, students in Grades 7 and 8 can journalistically explore contemporary issues and their meaning.

Mock Trial

Seventh and eighth grade students have the opportunity to participate in Mock Trial. Students will learn about aspects of the legal system through weekly meetings at school with instruction provided by parent volunteer attorneys.  Students are taught legal concepts which enable them to take on roles as prosecutors, defense attorneys, and witnesses.  At the end of the coaching sessions, students present their cases at the Bronx County courthouses for evaluation by actual judges.
